Last April, the USHCC Foundation announced that the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of Kutztown University in conjunction with the Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley was awarded an $18,000.00 grant for the Casa Cyber Community Technology and Small Business Incubation Project.

"The Hurricane Contracting Information Center which is provided by MBDA acts as a central point of reference for businesses, especially minority-owned businesses, women-owned businesses and small- and medium-size enterprises, to register for and become aware of federal contracting opportunities in the Gulf Coast. While the HCIC does not award contracts, their mission is to ensure that businesses understand the process and are aware when opportunities become available
